Working with Cedric was an amazing experience. Antillean Sagas, Five Program Pieces for Clarinet and Piano was a piece commissioned for my DMA project. If you are looking to perform a piece that allows you to explore different genres, pick this one! Throughout, you’ll encounter genres such as Klezmer, Romanticism, Junkanoo, and even a Tango. After premiering this piece at my DMA recital, it was a fan favorite! The melodies are fun, catchy and beautiful!
